THE IDEA OF THE EXHIBITION: On the occasion of the 31st International Book Fair of Turin, which will take place from 10 to 14 May 2018 at the Lingotto Fiere in Turin and which will have as its theme and title “A day all this …”, the MIIT Museum, the international magazine “Italia Arte” and the Folco Gallery, in collaboration with museums, foundations and public and private institutions, present the exhibition “FUTUR ARTE: VISIONARY ARTISTS FOR ART AND THE WORLD OF DOMANS”, scheduled from 10 to 30 May 2018 at the MIIT MUSEUM in TURIN, to fully share the spirit and involvement of the public and the thousands of visitors expected.
More than 150,000 visitors and tourists are expected in the city during the International Book Fair of Turin, transforming Turin into a laboratory of art and ideas in the open air, with all the main cultural institutions active in the promotion of art and culture.

The exhibition aims to present a selection of works and artists who, with their message, their style, their subjects, or through research and experimentation can imagine and propose what will be the art, society, the world of the future. A look at man and the world that sets no boundaries and barriers to the interpretation of artists, who can propose figurative works, abstract, informal, photographic, sculptural, or video and installations to tell their personal vision of art, but also of man, his feelings, his fears, his aspirations and hopes … in short, of society and the world of today and the future. An interpretation, therefore, of time and space, physical, mental, artistic and cultural, of what art can tell us today about its near future.
The theme is therefore very broad and free in its expressiveness, which can tell the idea and feeling of artists who, with their message, their style, the subjects represented, or through research and experimentation offer new interpretations of the world and art, reality, society. The exhibition aims to highlight artists who know how to look far, who love to challenge themselves and the world through courageous projects, based on an authentic knowledge of the trade, but also on the literary, artistic and philosophical heritage that constitutes our cultural identity and that of the Other, understood as a human and social universe to know, welcome, pass on. The artists who will interpret these suggestions will therefore be those who stand out for their profession, but also for their ability to innovate, the originality of their operating methods, their popular and communicative knowledge: painters, sculptors, photographers, creatives, designers, visionaries who know how to translate into contemporary and innovative language the stimuli of the present and the future, overcoming the barriers of the movements of the soul, the spirit, the heart and the mind.
